AccuFLEX Golf, the golf industry leader in advanced design carbon composite golf shafts, announced today the launch of its new EVOLUTION shaft that is enhanced 100% with a revolutionary nanotech manufacturing process, AccuFLEX’s “Nano Composite” technology. Nanotech processes comprise a technological revolution that will change our lives forever. Being able to work with materials on the nano level allows us to do, measure, see, make and predict things on the scale of atoms and molecules. Nanotech enhancements can be applied to a variety of materials from metals to plastics to carbon graphite fibers. The nanotech enhancement is permanently attached at the nano or sub-micron level so that it is undetectable to the human eye and is designed to last the life of the composite. The process of applying the nanotech enhancement involves either a dipping or spray applied in raw form, followed by a normal curing process. After twelve months of research, development and testing, AccuFLEX has gone into full production on its EVOLUTION shaft, the first widely available aftermarket shaft offered to the golfing public using a nanotech manufacturing process .

The benefits of working on the nano level will vary depending on the products enhanced. In the case of graphite golf shafts, AccuFLEX’s Nano Composite technology enhancement increases the surface area making a tighter molecular structure. This means that shafts that are enhanced with AccuFLEX Golf’s Nano Composite technology have less voids in the fiber, tighter tolerances and can feature lighter weight with more fiber density. Nano Composite technology shafts are also stronger, have faster recovery with less shaft deformation while transmitting better feel.
