Re: 525 cc Big Big Bang/AJ Tech Metal X Tour Assembled Club
Received the club yesterday (Tuesday) and you were not lying
when you said
that it was nice! It is a real beauty and the ferrule was a really
nice
finishing touch.Hit a few shots with it into a practice net and
it feels
terrific, very smooth and the shaft/head feel a lot less harsh
than many
other titaniums i have tried.I cannot wait to put it into action
proper on
Friday and i know that it will attract a lot of attention on the
1st tee!
Just for my information what is the lie angle for the club? Also
could you
suggest a head/shaft combination for a long hitting strong 3 (12*
or 13*)
and 5 wood?
Many thanks and i may be in touch in the future to build some
fairway
woods.
Regards,
Pat.
John,
Used this club for the first time last Thursday.Took some getting
used
to,but when i remembered to stand further away to allow for extra
club
length i started to hit the thing out of sight. Not enough course
out there
for it!! I regularly hit drives of 320-340 yards and feel that
i can get
some more out of it when i build some more confidence.Performance
was just
as good on Friday and Saturday. When i hit it right on the sweet
spot it
felt as if i had not made contact at all such was the smoothness
of the
strike.Do the bang fairway woods perform as well as this? I looked
up the
fairway woods you mentioned and do not see anything in a strong
(12* or 13*
degree) 3 wood.Do they hit the ball low as a rule? I await your
reply and
thanks for putting a new dimension to my game!
Regards,
Pat.
I hit with the 400cc 9 degree Dark Matter this past weekend, the feel of this head is tremendous. I won the competition with a 360 yrd shot, I still didnt hit it all of it, I won anyway. Bill Regner and I talked to trez simmons at a local about 2 months ago and told us to contact you which was a blessing. I am really excited about the district contest and feel that mesquite isn't out of my reach. Keep up the good work with the production of these heads, I'm waiting on a 7.5 as soon as you receive them in the 400cc. I also am spreading the word on bang heads around locally, which when its hit by my friends they say "it feels great and how can I get one". Thanks John Coe
I participate in LDA sponsered long drive contests. I consistantly
hit 360 to 380 yards in competion using a 50" ping TEC driver.
I'm hitting in the senior division and have been beaten in
the last two contests by people using your drivers. With
Ping I am able to adjust lie angle and degree of face closure.
What is the lie angle and face standard, open or closed ,
on your 450cc and 525cc driver heads? And is it different with
7.5 degree loft and a 9 degree loft? What is the gram wieght of both
the 7.5 and 9 degree heads? I am preparing for another contest
in 2 weeks and your quick response would be greatly appreciated.
Thanking you in advance,
Robert Beeso
