John Cook Posts Record with Innovative
John Cooks' 33 under record setting performance at the Bob Hope Chrysler
clasic puts him at the top of the 1997 PGA money list. The victory vaulted
Cook, a long time tour player and multi-million dollar career money earner
into the Top 10 on the PGA Ryder Cup standings.
The key to his winning according to Cook was consistent driving and strong
iron play. Cook has been using the Innovative Comp Tour Lite shaft (X-Stiff,
67 grams, 2.5 torque) in his Taylor Made driver, tree and four woods.
