What sets Phantom Dezign Wedges apart?
Through a design element called TriGrind Technology, Phantom Dezign Wedges offer an unparalleled performance versatility, so demanded by today's serious amateurs and Tour players to challenge modern golf course architecture. Multi-tiered greens, steep face bunkers and closely mown chipping areas have put a premium on wedges maintaining a variety of performance attributes; thus the creation of the TriGrind soles where each model features its own intricate and varying bounce grind across the flange.

Why the winged back design?
To compliment the TriGrind Wedges graduating sole widths from heel-to-toe, Phantom Dezign TriGrind Wedges feature a widening back shelf design which allows the horizontal weight to be ideally located for optimum clubface rotation and ideal strike points. This feature, combined with the highlighted "heel relief", allows the player to beautifully play the lower drawing wedge shot so prevalent in great wedge players.

How do they feel?
The combination of 8620 soft carbon steel and our proprietary annealing process has resulted in wedges that rival the softness of some of the great forged wedges of the past. With proven Rockwell Hardness ratings in the very low Bs, Phantom Dezign TriGrind Wedges have great playability and are easily adjustable for critical lie angle.

Approach Wedges:
50° Approach Wedge - Created to be a traditional profile "Pitching Wedge" with additional bounce to locate on the bag between today's 45° - 48° PWs and 52° approach wedges. Very minimal offset coupled with a high camber sole provide a versatile wedge for full shots and chipping.

53° Approach Wedge - An ideal complement to the player using blade irons and weaker PWs; this model has virtually zero offset, thus attaining distance of stronger wedges. Combined with its particular TriGrind bounce configuration, the 53° presents the ideal overlap wedge characteristics.

Sand Wedges:
54° Sand Wedge - With 54° Sand Wedges quickly becoming the most popular choice on Tour, this loft offering combines a special TriGrind "low bounce" configuration with increased sole camber resulting in a superlative bunker//fairway selection.

55° Sand Wedge - The original Wedge of the Phantom Dezign Series, created with minute offset and a TriGrind bounce configuration to perform equally well from grass and sand. A true player's Sand Wedge!

56 Sand Wedge - A classic slightly oversize Sand Wedge in the Phantom Dezign tradition with only a hint of offset and increased bounce in the TriGrind mode. A statement in versatility, defined by its precise distance control and greenside softness.

56° (DIAMOND) Sand Wedge - A true specialty series version with a high bounce configuration in the TriGrind form and minimal offset. Although outstanding for softer bunkers, the flange contour allows it to double as a great fairway club.

Lob Wedges:
58° Lob Wedge - Much like the 54° in its respective category, the Phantom Dezign Lob Wedge has a stronger loft, yet very soft playability. With the industry revelation of a predominant "center bounce", coupled with its varied design elements, this model has an unparalleled performance level for both touch and full shots.

60° Lob Wedge - Along with the 58°, this model features a unique TriGrind flange where the predominant bounce is located in the center, with considerable relief to both heel and toe, creating unrivaled versatility. As with the 58°, Phantom Dezign Lob Wedges perform miraculously well from both bunkers and grass surfaces. A unique blend in a high lofted wedge!

Our Phantom Dezign TriGrind Wedges come standard with a special True Temper Black Chrome S-400 shaft. The non-reflective black chrome shaft is a tour only design.
