What is DynaCube?

Background (Design & Development of Cube Shaped Head)
As a club designer, I have concentrated on designing clubs, which have the functions of a truly excellent one (not just talking, exaggerating, marketing, advertising…etc.). I really wanted to design very stable head that can send a ball straighter. I thought it would be no problem to design a very stable head, however, I found it was not easy work.
To make a stable head, basically, it is necessary to make MOI (Moment of Inertia) of head bigger efficiently.
The higher the value of inertial moment, the greater the resistance to rotation.
Having a club head that resists rotation means that energy loss is minimized and that power is transferred to the ball, enabling the golfer to get nearly the same distance and direction as a golfer should get on good shot, even when a shot is missed.
Every club company says that their head is very stable, straighter and longer. However, I think there are not any big differences between heads because everybody knows how to produce head, how to adjust CG (Center of Gravity), which material to choose …etc.
Moreover, the design and manufacture technique become the equalization.
To make a MOI bigger, there are two basic ways. One is to increase head weight and the other one is to increase head volume. However, there are certain limits and conditions to increase the weight and volume for head design. It is dangerous to increase weight and volume unconditionally. (Let us image 1,000gm weight or 1,500cc volume, etc.)
Therefore, I tried many times to increase weight and volume in many different ways as far as I could. I tried to produce different types of molds. Nevertheless, I was not able to find any differences in function. Of course, there was a little bit of different points but it did not give high function like what I expected. It was similar in function to a conventional head. It became one of the conventional heads, too. It meant that nothing was special about the club.
After spending time for a year without results, I concluded that it is impossible to design a stable head without changing the head shape radically; even though it would not conform to USGA and R&A Rules.
I decided to try change the head shape from conventional head design (oval and round) to square and cube shape, because MOI of square and cube shape is obviously bigger than oval and round shape. Theoretically and practically, MOI of cube shape is bigger than oval shape under same weight and volume condition.
Finally, I did it and it was correct start. Fortunately, it has conformed to USGA and R&A golf rules without any problems.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION (1)

Why DynaCube is good?
Dono’s Square (Cube) design maximized MOI (Moment of Inertia) of the Head by excellent perimeter weight without increasing head weight and head volume. MOI is a quantity that expresses an object’s resistance to rotation around a given axis (CS: center of Gravity).
Dono’s Square (Cube) shape is the only design to locate perimeter weight farthest from the CG (Center of Gravity) in all kinds of conventional heads.
To make the MOI bigger, the perimeter weight should be located to a longer distance from the CG.

Extra perimeter weight, which makes head
stable and makes the ball sender straighter.

Longer Distance Automatically
If the club head is stable at impact, the ball goes longer automatically.
Unstable means that swing energy (power) becomes the variance.
Since it is stable, it means that the power of the swing will be transferred to the ball, without energy losing.
Therefore, stable head can send ball longer.

Largest Sweet Spot
The stable head provides the largest sweet spot. Because of its stable character, not like other conventional heads, the Square (Cube) head guarantees accuracy in some degree even if it hits the ball on the toe or heel.
It means that Dono’s head truly has the largest sweet spot.

Guarantee Accuracy through Setting Up

Because of its Square shape, it is easier than the round shape to make stance and aim. It means that the golfer can make the swings more accurately. Moreover, it relaxes the golfer when setting up.
