New milled heat treated Aermet face for more precise bulge and roll for precision shotmaking and workability, and improved resonance for a perfect "just nailed it" sound when you hit the SuperNova II. The SuperNova II is also tour weighted (D2@43" for the 3 wood) and the face is harder and hotter (HRC53 vs HRC48 for the original SuperNova).

The Supernova II 3 wood is designed for distance, on the
fly, as well as extra long roll-out. This is the longest
3 ever produced. When first introduced to the Buy.Com touring
pros, their response was amazement. This 3 Wood was up to 30
yards longer then their present 3 wood! Even with its 43in.shaft
it was close to most of their drivers! After the testing Advanced
Golf received requests for clubs from almost every player included
in the test! Many had club contracts elsewhere.
The 5 wood is designed, to limit its roll-out for more
accurate ball placment. It is designed for higher ball
flight with a sharp descent so the ball has very little roll.
It was said, during testing, that this was the straightest 5
wood the Pros had ever hit. You will be hard pressed to find
a longer, more accurate 5 wood anywhere.
