This is a series of pictures showing a Dot 100 compression balata covered would ball from contact with the face until it leaves the face 4/10,000 of a second later. The head had a 12 deg. loft, backspin was 4,800 rpm, velocity of ball leaving club was 238 feet/sec. The 1.68" ball diameter compressed to 1.56" and elongated to 1.78" as it left the face. During contact the face moved .35".
