Finishing Ferrules

I have been using 4 cloth buffing wheel and White compound
bar for
polishing ferrules for three years and it sure does a professional
job. I
buy the white compound bars (5 lb) from any truck parts suppliers.
Truckers
use them to polish thier stainless steel fuel tanks. The 5 lb
bar sells for
about $15.00 and will last at least a year for a moderate repair
shop. It
sure beats acetone and does a much better job.
