Aurora Scalloped Face Driver
Selected as Golf Digest's 2005 Hot List "One of the hottest drivers of 2005"

The best driver you've never heard of, yet...
In the 2004 issue of Golf Digest, the Advanced Golf Technology SuperNova Fairway wood was selected as "the best fairway wood you've never heard of" and AGT repeats in 2005 with the introduction of their Aurora Scalloped Face Driver.
Internal Face Scalloping helps you hit the longest drives of your life! Scalloping was developed by club designer Steve Solo at A.G.T.'s Research and Development dept. It generates greater ball speed off the face as well as substantially elongating the sweet spot and the Aurora's perimeter weighting promotes a natural draw.
A.G.T.  produces the most stunning finishes ever put on a golf club. The color is our proprietary "Deep Merlot" which was first introduced on our Supernova Fairway woods.
(2004 Golf Digest Hot List).

The first thing you notice after striking the ball is the feel. The ball comes off the face very hot yet the Aurora driver has an amazingly soft feel. The second thing you notice is the trajectory. The ball climbs to a nice high arc and just hangs there. The response we heard the most from our testers is that the ball hangs in the air a good 2 seconds longer then any other club. With the AURORA you do NOT need unnaturally high lofts(11,12,13) to get the ball airborne and into a perfect trajectory. Through the "Scallopping" of the face we are able to acheive a high trajectory WITHOUT high amounts of backspin. This is unique to the AURORA. Clubs with 11,12 and higher degrees of loft do get the ball up high, but they drop quickly because of their higher spin rates. "Spin Kills Velocity." Without velocity your ball loses forward momentum. The AURORA spin rate is low and we are seeing a legitimate increase of 20~30+ yards. There is even rollout! The AURORA driver is a long-bomb monster! And, the best part about this club is you do NOT need a high swing speed to see significant gains off the tee.

For best performance, try teeing the ball high, so you can hit the ball just above the center of the club face...that's where the magic happens.

8.5, 9.5, and 10.5 lofts all have a naturally high launch angle. Face is square to open .5 of a degree. Lie is 56. The stock shaft is the A.TECH PRO 60. It has a torque rating of 2.7 X-stiff, 2.9 stiff and 3.1 in the regular flex. The better player will appreciate the superb quality and low torque. Final playing length is 45inches.

We can also build your Aurora driver with almost unlimited shaft options. Email us for help choosing the perfect combination.

Advanced Golf Technology makes superior golf clubs. Our clubs take 3 times longer to manufacture than mass marketed club brands. They will hit the ball farther and with much more control then other clubs. Even the finish is unique. By using a special "coating," with a small amount of an advanced hard coating polymer, the finish is much more durable. The beautiful finish is a translucent, deep, "Clear Burgundy", and they are at less risk of chipping than a standard painted club.
