Senior Longdriver
Testimonials

Mr Muir,

This is the longest, straightest driver I have ever had in my hands. (Geek FS3/Pure Energy Shaft) I got out on Friday with a friend and tried all manner of stuff. Then on Saturday a big match, we two engineers against a pair of pilots, (there has to be a pair as they can do nothing on their own), for a tube of balls. We fried them 5 and 4 - why? This driver has given me an extra 30-40 yds and a new hybrid 2 iron I have just built (Wishon585 wood shaft hosel on a TT lite shaft tipped 3") goes 200 - 220 Straight down the middle). I am in Nirvana. Here's how it works for me: Ball half way between center and the left heel long straight withdraw as little wrist action as possible and through the ball with weight central or slightly on the back foot still. Result 250 yds. I don't know what club to use next!

Well done!

Very best regards,

Chris B

John-

"I went up to the range and was careful to warm up thoroughly before teeing it up. I hit some midirons and a few short irons and a lot of 4 woods. Pretty soon I was ready to hit my regular Ping driver. I felt really in the groove now and the ball soared perfectly off the clubface with a soft draw into a right to left 10 knot breeze. One more of those and I was ready. The heft of the club (Geek FS3/Pure Energy Shaft) is wonderful, it feels like my 45" driver. I didn't make any special adjustments, just gave it a rip. The shot was centercut, a perfect trajectory and rolled up onto a driving range green that had been out of reach with my Ping driver maybe only 15 yards further but who cares it went further than any drive I was able to hit with my Ping and on the first drive. Wow! The more I hit it I knew it was a keeper right away; there was no struggling to hit it higher or lower or keep it from going right or left. Just a consistent, patented soft draw which is my natural shape.

Apparently you were right that the clubweight was the element that had to be got right but I've got to say that the swingweight is also perfect. I can sense the clubhead throughout the swing without it feeling heavy at all. "Just right!"

Dick

Hi John,
Just went to the driving range today with the 48" driver. Just like your article said, my misses were high and to the right. The driver felt heavy but after hitting around 20 balls, I got used to it. Right now, I can hit just as far as my old driver. When I make solid contact, it is 15+ yards longer. Should be more once I get more miles on it. I choked down 1" so the length was around 47" and it seemed lighter and more controllable but for now I will leave it at 48".
Thanks,
Ken

re: Senior Longdriver-Bangomatic/Pure Energy

John,
Everything Mr. Baymiller said in his article is true. The driver you build for me performed better than any drive I have ever used and I have used loads of them. The Bang head and the sk fiber pure energy shaft gave me the extra 20-25 yards that I needed and best of all it stays in the fairway. I usually do not buy into testimonials but here I am writing one. My drives average 200-210 but with his driver I was 230-240 yards and accurate.Thank you Mr.Baymiller and Thank you Mr. Muir.
Sincerely , Joe A

John,

I just wanted to let you know that I bought the bang-o-matic driver a few weeks ago. It has not only been the longest driver I have ever used, but it is by far the most accurate. I am 72 years old and my drives average 230 yards with one measured at 320 yds. I rarely miss a fairway. Thanks, Ed B

John,

re: senior longdriver- i really thought it would be hard to handle and would be fun to use once in a while. just after 6 range balls its in my bag to be used on a full time basis. its dead straight and long. total weight 282gr. i would recommend it to any senior  who has a nice tempo.   the senior article you have on your site is dead on. thanks for posting it, barry
