New Toll free number puts golfers in touch
with local custom clubmakers
Golfers across the county will soon be able to dial 1-800-GOLF CLUB
to shop for a set of custom made clubs. The phone will ring directly to
the nearest and most qualified clubmaker in the caller's area. This highly
unique service for golfers and clubmakers was unveiled at the Professional
Clubmakers Cociety (PCS) Trade show by Elmore Just, president of Louisville
Golf.
"The vision of 1-800-GOLF CLUB is a membership of 1,000 expert professional
clubmakers from the US and Canada pooling dollars to create a multimillion
dollar advertising campaign. Independently, clubmakers are a small business
but when they join together they become one of the largest golf club companies
in the world," explained Just.
The national advertising will let the golfing public know custom-made and
custom-fitted clubs are just as good if not better than the name brands
and give small clubmakers the ability to reach a national market that they
couldn't afford to reach on their own.
Protected territories are available to qualified clubmakers and payment
is based on the population of golfers in the region.
